We are a small family flower farm rooted in the belief that flowers grown close to home — in real soil, by real hands — are something worth seeking out.
How it started
From a backyard garden to a working farm
It started the way most things on a farm do — slowly, then all at once. A few rows of zinnias in the backyard turned into a serious question: what if we grew more? What if we grew enough to share?
We are the Friesen family, and we have been growing flowers on our land for several years now. What began as a personal love of cut flowers has grown into a working farm with a full season of weekly bouquet subscriptions, a loyal community of flower lovers, and fields that we are genuinely proud of.
We do everything ourselves — the planting, the tending, the harvesting, the delivering. That is not a complaint. It is the part we love most.
How we grow
Farming the way it should be done
Grown in real soil
No greenhouses, no hydroponics. Our flowers grow in the ground, in the sun, in the rain. That is what makes them last and what makes them beautiful.
Cut the morning of delivery
Every bouquet is harvested the morning it goes out. No cold storage, no sitting in a warehouse. You get flowers at their peak — not flowers that peaked last week.
Seasonal and honest
We grow what thrives here, in this climate, in this season. The variety changes week to week because that is what the farm is producing. We think that is a feature, not a bug.
Small on purpose
We keep our subscriber numbers intentional. We would rather do this really well for a smaller group than stretch ourselves thin trying to serve everyone.
